A beautifully restored historic property that has resulted in a place that exudes comfort, warmth and ambience in the common areas and in our room. We had dinner in what was a sensitively styled dining space. The food and service were exceptional. A buffet breakfast with good variety was provided with choices for hot food prepared on an individual basis. A wonderful choice for a luxury experience.

This was a lovely place to stay. The owner or proprietor was very kind and nice and very helpful. The property is characterful and we had a peaceful night in a lovely bedroom that had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was excellent. The breakfast was good. The Casa is set in a charming and intriguing village full of character. The Casa is excellent value for money.

For peregrinos on the Camino, a detour to Oliva de
Plasencia may make sense to cut down the distance
between stages, but the 7 KM hike along the road
Into town was uncomfortable and dangerous due to
a narrow and very rough shoulder to the road.
