Welcoming and responsive host, and that the apartment was very well equipped with all we needed (kitchen, washing machine, spacious too!). Having room to keep our bikes safely on the downstairs level was so much appreciated and made entry / exit easy. The town is lovely, clean, and within easy reach.

1) Breakfast was really good for EUR 10. It is a to-order type of buffet. They kept giving me food.
2) The room was really nice, the bed was fantastic. It is just a bit weird that the shower is part of the room and not with the toilet. It is ok since I am alone but very weird if I am with another person.
3) The hotel is very pretty, it is a posh old house in the city center.

Very nice little city with a lot of history and monuments to see. A day is enough to visit main attractions. You can complement with an Alqueva dam visit and other historial cities like Elvas, Jerumenha and archeologic site Cromeleque dos Almendres (portuguese Stonehenge with 7.000 to 8.000 years old)
This hotel was fine for a one night stop off before crossing over into Portugal. With its large car park outside,it was easy to park and it was only a short walk into the centre of the town where we spent a pleasant evening. Also, we enjoyed the breakfast the next morning in the adjoining cafe/bar before continuing our journey. All in all,it served its purpose-an extremely conveniently located place to sleep well and to break up the journey
Bed was extremely comfortable which is the most important feature for me, the blinds blocked out all the light and there was no noise.
The hotel was in a perfect location to visit the sights and enjoy a drink and tapas within walking distance.
Breakfast was very good and served with a smile, all the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much.
