This is a lovely spa hotel of exactly the right size, big enough that it has all the amenities you expect and want, small enough for it to be cozy and personable. The original building has been done up with a lot of love and care, the new parts are stylish and comfortable. The rooms are big and comfortable, I loved the walk in-wardrobe! The spa facilities and the outside pool area are lovely and never felt crowded. There is a great choice of additional treatments, we had facials and they were superb. The restaurant is also very nice and complemented the whole experience. However, at walking distance there are various restaurants in the village, so if you want to alternate there is no problem. Last but not least, the entire staff at the hotel are absolutely lovely, attentive and very pleasant. They make you feel very welcome and pampered, they go out of their way to make you comfortable. I messaged them up front about our dietary restrictions, and not only did they prepare and accommodate, they absolutely exceeded our expectations. All in all a wonderful experience, we will definitely repeat!

We absolutely loved the quietness of the place. It’s a beautiful rural house with rich history. It’s lovely owners told us a lot about the place and it was very interesting to know all the little “secrets” of the house that is more that 300 years old. We loved the detail that you can use the kitchen (not sure about the stove, we personally didn’t use that) but there’s basically everything you might need to make some simple meal. There’s also delivery from the next village if you don’t feel like cooking or eating outside. The owners offer breakfast for an additional cost. There’s two lovely kitties at the property though they’re not allowed to get inside the house. The house is in a tiny village which basically is a long street but you can find some interesting and unexpected places nearby, such as La Casa de las Mariquitas (A Love Bug’s House) or a couple of properties with lots of interesting birds including emus, ostriches and even a wallaby. You can also take a walk along part of the Green Trail ( La Ruta Verde) to the nearby village La Cellera de Ter.

Charming hotel that is well kept and super clean. The room was spacious, comfortable and the shower was not only fab but also nice and hot which was needed after a long day walking! Quim and Evi were of genuine kindness, very welcoming, friendly and hospitable. We do not speak any Spanish, so communicating was a bit difficult, but we always managed to get somehow understood and the service was great.The breakfast was amazing, containing fresh quality products only. It would be useful to put English or French translations of the names of the products on a list, though, as we did not always know what we were eating ;-) but that was not a problem, rather an exciting culinary discovery. Spa facilities looked really nice but would have necessitated some time for heating. I would have loved to have a dip into to the pool, but it was too cold which is a pity. But it is true we did our booking in the last minute, and for February, so I can understand this. For spring/summer season, I think it woud be great if your spa facilities could be included in the room price instead of costing extra - that would be good value for money for your clients.
