Patricia and the staff were kind and welcoming. The dinner menu at their restaurant was one of the best meals we had while in Spain. The care and attention to detail shows. Would highly recommend.
The only down side is that we booked this while walking the Camino Frances and it added 5km to an already long walking day in the heat. Just be aware when booking for your Camino. But it is worth the stay!

This was such a treat whilst walking the Camino. Nestled in the Galician countryside, so beautiful. The receptionist was a local , full of interesting information, and suggestions for our days rest. The thermal spa was great and the hot stone massage was the best we’d ever had.

Room was small but there was a common room outside of room which is nice as long as other folks are also Camino walkers and don't stay up too late. Met fellow travelers

Good location for the Camino. Good facilities. No air conditioning so expect it would be very hot in the summer months. But for me in October was ideal. Near a supermarket and places to eat.
HORRIBLE HOTEL. INFESTED WITH BED BUGS AND NO HEATER IN ROOM. AWFUL SERVICE. NO ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE IN TIMES OF NEED. DISGRACE TO THE CITY. HOPE THE CITY SHUTS THIS HOTEL DOWN.
WHEN YOU CALL THE FRONT DESK, THERE IS NO ONE AVAILABLE AND WHEN YOU CALL ON THE CELL PHONE, THEY SAY HEATER IS BROKEN OR MUNCIPALITY DOES NOT ALLOW HEATERS TO BE TURND ON IN ROOMS.

Of all our stops on the Camino from Sarria to here (...
Of all our stops on the Camino from Sarria to here (currently in Melide), Palas de Rei was the least interesting or exciting. Still, it had hidden gems in a hostal we found to eat dinner (there are not a lot of options) and returned for breakfast on our way out. Also, the laundry mat was a big plus and the driers worked really well. Dried a lot of clothes for 3 euros. Just have to ask around for change. The bar next door and the grocery store behind were so helpful.

A great place to stay, relax , have a well earned siesta after long walk from Portmarin 24.6 kms + Probably quieter in October when we visited but still found a good restaurant "Meson a Forxa" and had a delicious meal after 7 - early for Spanish but filled up rapidly . Lots of Camino walkers took break here.

Restaurants are very good and reasonably priced. 10 euros are enough for a person per day to be happy and even to try a milk sucking lamb baked in owen.

Small interesting town on the camino trail route (St James), not a lot to see but a good selection of bars and restaurants.

Everything! After a 6 hour walk in driving rain on the Camino we were lucky enough to have booked this excellent hotel.
It is located right on the Camino. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable, with excellent A/C.
Ben on the desk was super helpful. Luggage was in our rooms. He helped me with the washing and drying machines.
None of our party of 3 could find anything wrong with our stay.
Lovely albergue. Easy check in, very friendly hospitalero. I loved the bunks with curtains for extra privacy, you also have your own power socket to charge your phone. The place was tidy and comfortable. It has a bar are and a big common room where you can socialize with other pilgrims. 10 mins walk to centre of Palas de Rei where you can do your shopping or have dinner. Easy!
Amazing stay. We are really thankful for how the owner received us.
We went with our dogs during the Santiago's way.
We have dinner at the hotel and was served and prepared by the owner of the property. Really good homemade food.
Recommendation and some chat with the couple was very kind and make our day.
A beautiful and special place for us. We spent the night on our way to the Camino de Santiago and it’s was amazing. Also was my birthday and they made everything more special. The food was the best in our journey. Can’t ask for more. Highly recommended!!!!!
I was walking the Camino and the hotel was easy to locate, near good restaurants, had a kitchen where I could make tea, use refrigerator etc. The lady who checked me in was very pleasant and helpful.
Room very clean, Cozy , staff extremly helpful.(I needed an extra room, not available there; but manager help me to find that other room in another hotel nearby ) .
Close to laundromat, restaurants and Camino de Santiago, which we were walking. Had a bit of trouble finding it. The man who checked us in was very kind.
