The location is right in the middle of the final rounds of the French Santiago trail. It's therefore, appropriate for pilgrims doing the caminho, with shared excellent kitchen facilities, dorms and a quiet environment for resting. This was a very place on the Camino. Check in across the street at the panaderia. The woman was nice in showing us the room. We forgot our water bottle in the panaderia and then she closed, but I saw her outside. She said she couldn't back in that night. But she made a call to the owner and gave us the water bottle. She was great! There is no kitchen, but there is a common area with a big dining table. The room had high ceilings and the shower was fully enclosed. The drying rack outside gets pretty good sun if you dry from early afternoon.

The location was perfect. We just had 2 days in Santiago de Compostela city, this was a perfect contrast for one night. Silence except for the tinkle of cow bells and the river. Lucky the weather was also great. The views from the terrace are marvellous. Hospitality was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. The menu was limited but the food was very good. It was on the Camino trail, we were not walkers or pilgrims, but could enjoy some short walks and a beer in the valley.
