Just had a great stay at this hotel - I’ll admit I had my doubts about the automated check in but entry system worked perfectly.
Think you won’t see a person ? Wrong !
both girls we saw on reception were friendly and polite and the housekeeper was a wonderful woman.
It’s located in a fantastic central location to access all the places of interest with secure parking just across the square and it was only a short stroll to the local bar that provided breakfast.
If we return to Cartagena, this will be the only hotel we’ll stay at ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Second time staying here. Terrific house, great location. Free private parking and dog friendly (at no extra cost). Carlos very helpful.
El Portus is beautiful. Unfortunately there is very little internet reception anywhere, contrary to advertised. Reception only opens at 10am and is not 24 hour as advertised. Reception staff could hardly have been more indifferent to any of our problems. I understand tempers are frayed by the end of September but their abruptness was unacceptable.
Also, the rule that you are not allowed to leave the resort before 7am is nonsense. We were given no warning of this. Luckily we did not have a plane to catch.
