The location is a bit isolated, but with a car/ bicycle you be fine. A step away from the sea, quit area, if there is no renovation/ building work is going on nearby. Renting a bicycle I found hard and I would loved to cycle for a day the lovely stretches along the seasides.i liked the hostess Pepi and Raphael, very helpful in every way!

Santa Pola is a relatively small town with a bustling port/marina at the centre with eateries, shops and boat trips to Tabarca Island. You can walk to the north and south of the port along flat walkways where you will find quiet areas with nice beaches. You will find the major supermarkets plus a central bus station with links to Alicante, Elche and south to Torrevieja.

Santa Pola is a working town but still is a great place for a vacation there are 2 great beaches and loads of restaurants and cafes. great supermarkets and bakeries. You can do water sports in summer and there are great walks and cycling options.

All facilities were on the doorstep! Don’t forget to have a nice cold drink in one of the tiny bars that are down all the little side streets ! Wide choice of restaurants and music and entertainment and a lovely walk along the Marina promenade people watching to be off a chilled day in Santa Pola ( a very underrated town in our opinion! ) 🏖☀️MandyUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

We have visted the town many times, we like it because it is a "working town" not full of tourists. There a plenty of excellent restaurants and shops and the beaches are very well maintained. Favourite restaurant was Cata Simo and we enjoyed many "meals of the day" there. It is easy to get around the town by walking. Do not miss the fruit and veg market on a Saturday, or the general goods market on a Monday morning.

We have visited Santa Pola often over the years but never overnight. We love the fact that it is a very Spanish town with plenty of Restaurants for every pocket. The beaches are fantastic and safe. Taxis are easily available and reasonably priced. Very flat walking all over town with a historic Fort in the square with Cafés all around the edges. The town also boasts a local indoor market with local fresh goods for sale. A truely lovely Spanish town.

We also tought it was very usefull that u had a taxi service available for a good price. He also said whats nice to visit when we told its our first time in Santa Pola. (The taxidriver) When something broke, they said we didnt need to replace it and it was no problem and could happen to anyone. Really good service!TimBelgium

View of the endless sea is amazing - you can see sunrise and sunset from the balcony . Small beach is just on the doorstep , if you want to go the larger , public one it's a 4/5 min walk to the right - if you want to see the quiet but the most beautiful beach in Santa Pola you have to walk approx 6 min to the left .RozalskaUnited Kingdom

The two bedrooms were also good. I liked that there was air conditioning to help cool the apartment and a washing machine for the clothes. There was even a clothes drying rack. We liked that they provided a chair for the beach. But best of all was there was a refrigerator and stove so we could prepare our own food.NicoleUnited States
