The room was superb - clean, plenty of space, well-appointed bathroom, very comfortable beds and the shutters and windows were very effective .with the noise. The aircon was excellent and easy to adjust to our liking. The parking was excellent, roomy and close-by.

Stopped here for one night on our way down to Morocco on motorbikes. Not much to do in Merida (but we did get there quite late) but the Hotel Velada Mérida is easy to find with barriered secure parking next door. Parking is chargeable BUT if you're on a motorcycle, you can squeeze through the barrier (and the staff know it).
Room was comfortable and breakfast ample, except there was a coach party who had arrived at the same time as us for breakfast, so there was a bit of a queue.
Dinner can be served in their restaurant. Marginally on the expensive side, but it was a good meal. Bar in lobby is a godsend.
