The location was excellent, being opposite the beach. The view from the terrace, looking over the beach and the harbour was magnificent. Room was large ,clean and very comfortable. The attached restaurant provided and extensive menu at very reasonable rates, and the food was sensational. We could not have wanted any more from the staff, who were incredibly helpful and friendly. One of the most welcoming and helpful hotels that we have stayed.

The host couple were lovely, they don't speak much English and we didn't speak much Spanish but we managed to find a way to communicate anyway. They were really friendly and the property was great and private, we even got to wash our clothes.
We ended up in a position where we hadn't had lunch that day (the first day of Camino Dos Faros) and there were no restaurants or shops near by, and no more food stops until the following evening. We were very concerned that we would not be able to eat but when we turned up the hosts cooked us dinner which was so tasty, gave us drinks and even gave us leftovers for the following day as lunch - this absolutely saved us!! We paid a little extra for the food and drink, but it was absolutely worth it. Otherwise we would have been over 30 hours without food. Honestly can't thank these guys enough, they even gave us a lift to the beach the next morning to continue our journey. Thank you so much for your kind hospitality!

Our stay was an unusual experience. It's a renovated old house in a somewhat rundown part of Corne. Many of the houses around it are without roofs and windows. Others have been renovated. The house itself is a traditional one room a floor stone house, kept very warm by AC inverters of every floor. There are large TV's on each floor but only a small sofa in the kitchen. No living room.
