It was easily accessible on the Camino del Norte. It was a modern hotel room that you enter through an automatic booking system - which is easy to do but impersonal. Though I did meet some staff later who were lovely.
Hotel Sablón is located on a cliff, with direct access to Sablón Beach. It offers well-equipped rooms with fantastic sea views, private parking and free Wi-Fi.

I’ve stayed there before and loved it, so booked again (3 rooms) - a different experience. First time we had sea-facing rooms - this time we were in the back rooms which had the chip fryer fumes blowing straight in. On arrival, everything was ready for us, but the outside temp was only 8deg and there was no heating in the room. The receptionist was indifferent to the fact and said that it would probably come on around 7pm. It did, but didn’t stay on long enough to warm us up, or the room. Frankly, there was nothing that I liked about our stay this time except that it is well located for restaurants and the beach.

This place is great in so many aspects! On arrival we were in awe with the views of the mountains. Travelling by car, made the location of this hotel ideal! Thanks to its proximity to the motorway, we were able to discover the rest of the paradise of Asturias - Llanes, Arriondas, Ribadesella, Cangas de Onis, and Gijon. The motorways were so quiet and it was easy to reach other stunning locations. We enjoyed stopping off at the nearest MasyMas Supermercado for our picnic supplies too which was handy.
The owner is also super friendly, informative, welcoming, funny, quirky and has high attention to detail. Rooms were always attended to every day; towels were changed, toilet roll replaced and bed linen was refreshed and tidy. We had a silly incident with fresh orange that must have exploded; we informed the owner of this, and he was so chilled about it, it was cleaned and painted while we were out. The same with the dodgy key hole/lock; we couldn't open the room door, but the same day of arrival he had it fixed.
Tourism and Culturally speaking, the owner recommended us some places of interest to visit and adventure centres which was much appreciative. His very fond taste in music also intrigued us and we shared some Scottish and Northern Spanish culture. He is knowledgeably of the area, so don't be afraid to ask about activities to do in the area.
Food wise, we had breakfast a couple of times and it was exquisite and filling, making it an ideal energy boost for our hikes. We also enjoyed our coffee taking in the amazing views and playing with Tequila the Jack Russell. It was always nice to get up to friendly faces.
We have some wonderful memories. Muchas gracias! We will see you in August. We also want to say one last thank you for sending back my watch I had left on the bed. We appreciate the kindness.
For all active holiday makers travelling by car and ready to discover a green paradise of mountains and beaches, come here!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The family run hotel has everything you need for an overall stay. Warm welcome and helpful owner ensured we got our stay off to a good start. We chose this hotel to go to restaurant Casa Poli that is only a five minute walk away. For that the location was perfect. Free, secure parking was a bonus. Breakfast was simple but delicious. Especially the Brownie. We’d definitely stay again and recommend it to others.
Indiana is an impressive colonial-style building, surrounded by large gardens and enjoying wonderful views. Each of its stylish rooms has a flat-screen TV and underfloor heating.

Very nice host made us feel welcome on arrival. The place has a nice, clean homely feel.
Our room was bright and clean and comfortable. The double bed was very comfortable and the room was warm (we were staying in a winter storm) and we slept really well.
The bathroom had a bathtub and was spotless clean.
No minibar, fridge or tea/ coffee facilities in the room.
Parking was easy and convenient.
The short drive to Llanes is on a back road, via a stunning lookout and winding through a delightful village. A car is a must have, but the location is great.
This pleasant hotel is located 700 metres from Antilles Beach on the Costa Verde Coast.

Very good breakfast with big selection and homemade food. Exceptional nice location, like an alm in the alps at the ocean.Very friendly staff and a good starting point to explore Llanes or the picos.

Small, not much going on, but near several beaches, the town of Llanes and other natural places to see
Economic places to eat and drink are camping ground restaurants and Albergues, and there are plenty of those nearby.
The town of Llanes has plenty to see and do, only 10 minutes away, very picturesque
