As Brits, we expected the hostal to be of similar quality as a hostal in UK ... ie not as good quality as an hotel. We have now been informed that the exact opposite is the case here in Spain ... perhaps the booking sites should mention that in their English sites.
The only improvement we could suggest for the room would be another chair and a desk or table.

Clean, tidy property with a lovely pool. The owners are very friendly (French speaking). Very conveniently placed for onward travel. Very large commercial complex not far away, also the town has lots of bars and is very lively.
