It was good as it has 24 checkin and I was arriving very late plus it was cheap as I only needed a bed for a few hours

Our second visit here and still a great place to stay. The history of the hacienda makes it very interesting, but at the same time is very comfortable. However, the welcome and friendly service from the staff are brilliant. We ate in the bar and the restaurant, both very good!

Location was good just off motorway but quiet Restaurant next door excellent at good price. Didn't take breakfast after reading reviews so can't comment. Room was nice but bathroom layout bit strange making shower pretty much unusable as it was long but thin very awkward to use.

The first time we stayed here was unplanned. We had booked to stay elsewhere but found there was to be a musical performance right in front of the hotel that night, The size of the speakers being installed suggested that a good night's sleep would be out of the question, so we moved on and found the Helmantico. Since then we have stayed here several times on our way south, It is very conveniently located near the motorway, the rooms are comfortable, the water is hot, the staff are helpful - what's not to like?
