O Pereiro is a good place to stop if you are walking the Via de La Plata/Camino Sanbres, but beware as this hotel is in O Periero de Arriba and there is a steep climb from the Camino to the hotel. Nice spacious room, it was clean and comfortable. The owner was lovely and made us feel very welcome. The location is beautiful and so peaceful. There are a couple of bars within easy walking and a hotel restaurant about 3 miles away. Breakfast was simple but very nice.

A very welcome break on the Camino. Bedroom very clean and more than adequate, bed very comfy, Bathroom clean, water plentiful and shower hot. The restaurant not only has a menu del día but also an extensive menu which includes dishes made from local mushrooms and funghi. The staff are a little reserved but very professional and helpful. Being a roadside hotel the cafe opens very early in the morning and provides an excellent breakfast at very reasonable cost. Overall good value for money.
