Our guide, Solomon, who worked for the Winta Hotel, was outstanding. Among other things, he took us to Old Town morning and night, on a drive to see the Somalia refugee camps, to see the birds swoop on scraps at the camel market, and to participate in the feeding of the hyenas at evening. We also visited a traditional home and several fine basket shops, as well as a coffee bar that served coffee with camels milk, and camel meat stew on injera. A great two days!
