It's a wonderful place, and Jouni prepared everything we needed. The spacious main building has four rooms, thus kids and we have separate spaces for a good night's sleep. Equipped with advanced electric oven, kitchen utensils and tableware, dishwasher, all cocoa, and tea bags are also available. The excellent clothes dryer keeps our snow clothes and boots warm and dry, and the very healing sauna room can purify our body and mind. There is a CD player to listen and Netflix to watch dramas. Hands down the the nicest place ever. There is beautiful wooden sauna, indoor and outdoor hot tub, and you can barbecues while you soak in the hot water under the stars. Amazing views of frozen lake, where you can go ice swimming, we even tried to cut the ice hole ourselves, but it is more difficult than it looks like. Bunnies and and squirrels can be observed from windows when the sun goes down. Fire place and central heating, we were so cosy even during -26 degrees temperatures hit. Clean, modern, and the hosts were absolute stars, thank you Sanna and Timmo, this stay felt like living in the fairy tale for a few days

Lovely cottage with masses of snow everywhere, just what we wanted. Good location, about 10-15 minute drive to town. Kitchen had everything you needed to prepare a meal. Very warm. We lit the fire one night which was lovely and was still warm in the morning.

The traditional wooden chalet was beautiful and well insulated (almost too warm inside given the weather of mild temperature of 1 degree for a February!). There are two saunas indoor and outdoor but the use of it need planning and you are only allowed to use it once during your stay. Note that when using the indoor sauna, other guests can’t use the shower as the sauna connects to the communal shower.
