- sauna
- many hiking trails nearby (within 1 hour by car)
- rivers good for fishing
- all essentials in good quality: comfortable beds, hot water, heating/air conditioning, good stove, dishes and utensils, fridge, microwave, fireplace and lots of wood included in the price, window shades
- bed linen and towels must be ordered and paid for in advance
- I will list the details that could be improved in the other section but despite the few negatives we had a great stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book the cottage again

The kindness of the hostess above all, the wild surroundings, the traditional sauna (with cold bath!), the simple yet cozy cabin, the fact that you can borrow snowshoes and skis, and the night sky views!
We stayed one night and would have happily extended it if we had had the flexibility!

Kelly, the host, was very friendly and helpful. The sauna, which is in the home of the owner(s) is nice, so is the bbq hut.
The location is ok - nice to be in the nature, at the lake. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see my wildlife

Really nice log cabins, have everything that you need for a short stay. The place is amazing, you can use the cross country skis and sledges whenever you want. The owners are very friendly and kind, my children were suffering from cold feet and they gave us some good tips on what to do with them! Also the husky rides are very recommended, we thoroughly enjoyed them. Thanks for everything Jaana and Seppo.

Korvala Wow what an amazing place a Gem.Wow wow wow. What can i say, what a location! Words cannot describe how beautiful Korvala Cabin are. The location is spectacular unspoilt beauty and a gem. The Owners were polite and helpful. Our cabin was super cosy and warm when we arrived. Cabin was spotless clean and full of all the mod cons required. Beds comfortable and clean. Korvala has everything you need for an amazing family holiday the husky experience is a must. Its an experience of a lifetime. We spent alot of time on the property and its fully equipt with skiis, snowshoes, ice fishing and toboggans. All free to use on property. There is lovely walks around the property where you can immerse yourself in the natural beauty allaround you. Korvala has everything for a memorable holiday. A hidden gem with an authentic lappish experience. 100% going back

Our cabin was perfectly isolated in a calm and peaceful location by the lake, cabin was prepared and equipped with every thing as agreed at the time of booking. Hosts were friendly and reachable all the time for any help required.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10
Korvala exceeded our expectations.
Korvala exceeded our expectations. Were a family of 5 and everyone was happy. Onsite activities were fab, views were fab,cabin was fab, very helpful owners on hand at any time. I'd absolutely reccomend staying here and will return myself again in the future. Cant fault anything, is remote, 40 mins drive to santa claus village but the setting was what we picked and wanted so perfect for us. What's promised is what you get 100%
