Lovely place. Fantastic location with plenty of activities on site. Off the beaten track surrounded by pine forests and lakes. Buffet food was amazing.

Hosts were extremely attentive and friendly, the yurt was really warm and welcoming with almost a homely quality to it! The surrounding area was beyond beautiful and we were able to have so much fun in the snow! Breakfast was wonderful and really hit the spot and the option to buy and cook some sausages over a fire was delightful.

Everything was great. The house is very big and it was a pleasure to visit it. There are a lot of space for kids inside and outdoors. We easily found it and spent great weekend. It’s also pretty close to Santa Park.

We stayed at the house just a few days after Christmas and everything was covered with snow. The house was very warm and cozy and the frozen lake was magnificent. We could also use the 3 sledges that the owner had left us and in our last day, we managed to see the northern lights. We had a great time !!!!!!

Our kind hosts (also their dogs) did everything to make us feel home, we had dinner with them, they prepared the sauna and the place is perfect for seeing northern lights as it is far away from any light pollution and directly by the lake.

Location stunning! Peaceful & tranquil. Perfect base for visiting all the family as we do every year! Cottage was smaller than it looked in photos. Fire was a lovely cosy addition. Bed was a mattress on floor upstairs, comfortable for me but himself being taller found it a struggle to get comfortable so slept on sofa downstairs. We like our own space but perfect for those who don't mind being on top of each other. Going outside in middle of night to bathroom not ideal in the cold, easier in Summer i'd guess. Key was accessible. We cleaned up rather than pay the fee, it took 20 mins. Finland is in my genes & in my heart & it was only property in area available for our dates, our favourite Bears Lodge was fully booked up since our stay year previously. It was clean & we weren't disturbed. Guy ploughed snow every day. Wood stack was plenty. Sauna .. fabulous..a must in Finland & now we are building ourselves one here in Ireland!

The house is wonderfully placed: on the lake , in the woods , with no one near ,- perfect place to feel the eonder of the nature. Rovaniemi is in 25 minutes car drive. The house has everything: fully equipped kitchen, sauna, it has second floor with two large spaces. Lovely designed living room, bedroom and kitchen on the first floor. Everything is clean. The inner space of the house desined to have lot of space - You really feel home and safe. It has many good options to warm the space: fireplace, airconditioner, warm floors in bathroom, toilet and sauna, radiators - everything in perfect condition. And the last, but that touched all us by heart - the house was so wonderfully, so lovely decorated for chrismas! We spend unforgettable time in this house thanks to the house owners, who helped us to find the direction, and were in touch for just everything!

First and foremost, Peter did welcome us like no one ever did. He was really the spice of magic for our stay to be splendid. The sauna and the jacuzzi were perfect and we also could enjoy the cold bath in the lake 😍 a must do in this place. It was one of the best place we’ve ever stayed. And really a shoutout to Peter who played a big role in creating this experience in a great moment.
