An excellent location close to Repovesi National Park. We stayed in one of the small cottages, not in the main building. Excellent breakfast and dinner. We booked the lake sauna for an additional fee - highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at Jokiranta - so much so that we stayed an extra night! The house and location were perfect for a family trip with three children. We really enjoyed the wood-burning sauna, riverside location and berries in the garden! The house exceeded all our expectations! It turned out to be located on a small island with a few other similar houses, none of which were occupied whenever we were there. The house was equipped with a small sauna and kitchen. BBQ facilities were right outside. We also had a right to use boats for no additional charge, so we went for a row around the island. The host was super friendly and always available on the phone in case any assistance was needed.

Wonderful 6000 year old rock paintings and UNESCO heritage factory near a cute nature path. Shops, libraries, cinemas and cafes within driving distance. We were there for the beautiful "ruska" time when leaves change color and birds migrate. The cottage is quite isolated which gives it a very peaceful atmosphere.
