Waiyalailai Eco Haven is such a special place - a real hidden treasure. TaiLo is an incredibly kind, knowledgeable and interesting person, and has created an fantastic atmosphere. Between being serenaded for meals, evening entertainment, kava ceremonies and cultural talks, Waiyalailai is definitely set apart from other accommodations. Octopus Resort, hotel in Wayasewa Island

Set on 1 km of beach in Likuliku Bay, this resort offers a swimming pool and a luxurious day spa. There are 2 bars, a restaurant and a variety of cultural activities available.

Stayed in a premium garden bure, it was a lovely room that was spacious and clean. It had a private bathroom with outdoor shower which was a lovely touch. There was a mosquito net to use around the bed which was ideal as there were quite a lot of mosquitoes around. The resort had a lovely beach with sun loungers and hammocks as well as a pool. Lots of activities on offer some of which were free which was a really nice touch.

We come two times a year because of the people and the lifestyle. As I talked to other families they said the same thing. They love how friendly the staff are and how everyone is welcome. Best place we ever stayed. If you’re thinking of doing Fiji make this spot a priority. Be careful thought, you will fall in love and never want to leave. Make sure to do the island walk, the mountain hike and eat some do the amazing pancakecays at breakfast.
