Nothing at all. We did not stay, the room we were offered was up 3 flights of stairs, dark and dingy. The room was probably Fashionable in 1900, but not livable in 2023. We had no option but to move on!! It is a real shame that Booking.com can’t check what they are advertising, even the Tourism Office did not know where this “Hotel” was

Chantal’s property is incredibly charming. We felt very connected to the history of the place. But despite being an historic building, it’s been fit out to a very high and modern standard. The property is in the middle of the countryside and from its garden you can see the beautiful views of the valley. The nearest town, Chinon, is a beautiful historic town and it’s only 10 minutes drive from the studio. Chantal herself was the perfect host and she made us feel at home during our stay. We would love to go back soon!
