The building is beautiful, and I loved the rooms and the restaurant. The owners even allowed me to park my motorcycle in the private garage at the rear. Lovely, I will book in the future.

Able to check in from 1pm onwards. Owners very helpful. Secured (uncovered) courtyard with enough space to store about 4 motorcycles. Only several bedrooms. A communal kitchen / diner to make your own drinks/food. Ensuite room very clean, warm & functional, but more like a YHA / hostel standard - perfect for a slightly bedraggled biker. Nice ""typical french" bar downstairs, which didnt serve food but also didnt stay open late.
Location just round the corner from the beautiful old part of town. Plenty enough places to eat nearby, in walking distance.

The room was clean and comfortable with good facilities, two towels each, ample hot water, tea and coffee, an open wardrobe with hangers. The breakfast was very good.

Best of both worlds. Basic room with usual amenities but no aircon although fan or heater depending on season. In October we were there on changeover day. Very good wifi. Nice shower in our room but broken fitting needed some lateral thinking ( see photo ). The bar restaurant is traditional village France at its best. Probably hasn't changed since the fifties. Excellent food, good cheap beer and wines plus a great atmosphere with the locals although it helps if you speak some French. Very welcoming and you quickly feel like a local as you get to know all the regulars. PS. I have been travelling in France for over 50 years now so nostalgia was a big part of my enjoyment when staying here
