Beautiful room in a renovated building. The host was fantastic and we had a delicious, home cooked, locally sourced evening meal. Really lovely.

Beautiful chateau in beautiful countryside. No dinner options but our request to picnic in the garden was met with enthusiasm and we were supplied plates/cutlery and wine glasses - and had a choice of “dining” locations throughout the grounds. Incredibly peaceful location.

We wanted to stop for the mountains and the scenery on our way further south. We ate in the hotel and also in Le Gourmand in Ambert. Easy to get around but be careful at night, the roads are windy and visibility can be poor.
Book ahead for all your evening meals.
