Chantal’s property is incredibly charming. We felt very connected to the history of the place. But despite being an historic building, it’s been fit out to a very high and modern standard. The property is in the middle of the countryside and from its garden you can see the beautiful views of the valley. The nearest town, Chinon, is a beautiful historic town and it’s only 10 minutes drive from the studio. Chantal herself was the perfect host and she made us feel at home during our stay. We would love to go back soon!

Fantastic location to relax, with Chinon a short drive away for restaurants and shopping. The property is very well maintained and modernised historic building with excellent grounds and facilities.... and surprisingly large! The location was very rural and peaceful. The breakfast was varied and interesting, featuring local produce. Our room was very spacious and well equipped with plenty of wardrobe space to hang clothes. Lovely views over the front and back of the house. The house was beautifully furnished, which enhanced our visit.
