Not an easy review as this property should get a full 10....but read on. The spa facilities are excellent and include outside sauna and hot tubs. The staff are really good, breakfast is excellent and the place is clean. Parking is on site and free. The views from the spa garden are really lovely and relaxing. But....

Although we booked at Hotel Du Donon our room was at hotel Le Velleda, which has a star more. Our room was under the roof and luckily had airconditioning. We enjoyed the "formule" for hotel guests for dinner, which had been adjusted very well to my diet.

Very pleasant stay. Beautiful area. Perfect location, 5 minutes walk from the centre of the village by walking along a water string. Really lovely.
The apartment was very comfortable and quiet. The living-room was quite big and a very decent size bedroom. The kitchen is well equiped and has a nice little patio (terrace) with table and chairs. Perfect for breakfast! You also have a BBQ.
Christelle, the owner, was really nice, welcoming and try her best to accommodate us. She was very flexible with our needs.
Le Gîte du Donon is located in Grandfontaine. The accommodation will provide you with a TV and a seating area. There is a full kitchen with a dishwasher and a microwave.
