The property was located in a quiet hamlet in rural France. The views from our studio was stunning, right into the forest. The facilities were fantastic and because it was quiet, we had them all to ourselves. One of our highlights was the delicious 3 course dinner that was served, it was so professional and tasty!! The owners could not have done enough for us, they were wonderful hosts.

I always try to stay in B&B when I travel with my motorbike and, most of the times, I do an “intense” search in order to find the best possible place to stay.

This time i was traveling north from Spain into France and, after looking for a very nice place in a new route and region, I found a jewel. I arrived to Melanie's place around 16h30, after a long and hot day. It is located 4 kms from a small village called Vielle-Soubiran. And then, I found the Domaine de Lugazaut; I was impressed. It comprises of a very big property with a big house from 1912, having large rooms with high ceilings. It is decorated with an exquisite taste; everything I was looking at was old, but everything was working perfectly; amazing. My room was big, with a 1.5m bed, a new bathroom, and a place to stay, with a bureau and a fireplace. All was very clean, and once more, exquisitely decorated. I entered the property and parked the bike at the garage, next to the chicken and the horses. Incredible. After a couple of beers, Melanie served me a fantastic dinner composed of a tomato soup, from her last tomatoes she had from her garden, and then a chicken with jamon which she steamed, together with some potatoes cooked in white wine, and some morilles or champignons. I did not reach the dessert, but the dinner was really good. She also cooked the bread which was fantastic. The following morning, Melanie prepared a corn bread, that she cooked a bit before, together with a yogurt done by her, together with different jams that she also prepared. She also had some figs from her tree and also some apricots, all from her garden, 
What else can you have?
 She was very nice, had a good chat with her in Spanish, and I had a really nice time at the Domain, 
I will definitely go to this jewel again, as it makes the trip different. I do not tell you the prices, as for this you need to look into her website. Really good !

Great location - peaceful and perfect air conditioned room

Everything was so fine. Very friendly owners, location, cleanines, spacious room and bathroom, beautiful furnitures, very nice interior. Special thanks for their aim to avoid food waste.

Beautiful setting on edge of small town. The lady owner was very pleasant. 2 lovely dogs. A room fridge for cold drinks and a kettle and 2 mugs.

The family room with terrace was separate and felt private and comfortable. The pool was good and the breakfast extensive.

We had very good attention from Patrick, the Gite was first class with everything we wanted and needed. The area was interesting and the animals and birds made our stay a more interesting event. We will be back again.

Wonderful friendly host. Couldn’t do enough to help us with local restaurants and places to visit. Even organised wonderful day of wine tasting at local Chateaux. Beautiful property with fabulous room and modern bathroom. All very tastefully decorated. Breakfast was wonderful. Beautiful fresh pastries from local boulangerie. Amazing garden to relax in.
