Our stay was in September 2023. The best bit was the lovely, inviting pool and pool area. Also, has on-site parking which was great. Not ideal was the lack of staff at the time of arrival which was at a reasonable hour (15:00 or so). Although there were instructions (sent via 'messaging' on Booking.com) on how to access the property if no one was there, not all in our party received the instructions. Essentially, this would not have been a problem, however, the 'contact' phone number taped to the front door was not responding (at least on the day that we arrived), so there was no ability to access the rooms, till the one person in our party with the message arrived. The hotel was a bit sterile and could do with updating. Staff did not appear to be that warm or friendly, but maybe that was just her demeanor. One tip, the town is within walking distance (10 - 15 minutes). We had dinner at the gastronomique restaurant there (L'Empreinte) which was amazing.

A beautiful setting with gracious hosts. A beautiful garden where we enjoyed our delicious breakfast. The room had a great selection of books to read. The hosts gave a great recommendation for dinner in Givry. They also had excellent knowledge of local vineyards. We were extremely happy with our stay and would definitely stay again next time we are in the area.
A good location for a stress-free holiday in Montagny-lès-Buxy, VILLA FIGUE BLANCHE is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the garden.

Jean-Philippe and Valerie were very attentive hosts and made our short stay a very enjoyable one! The room, the pool, the beautiful homemade breakfast, and of course the location and view all exceeded our expectations. The location of this property was the main driver for us to booking it. It is very close to the Voie Vert cycle track from Beaune to Macon which uses a old Railway line through beautiful countryside and is apparently one of the oldest cycling / walking paths without motor traffic in France. The property was absolutely beautiful and extremely well appointed and a
very nice conversion of an Old Barn. The owner was very welcoming and Hospitable . The rooms are all themed differently and very comfortable. The breakfast we were given was very good and included a variety of choice.

Well equipped, clean, beautiful setting and nicely decorated. We loved the wine theme, the beautiful view from the little balcony, the airy bedroom and gorgeous location, only a 10 min walk from the centre of lovely Buxy. Every question I had was answered incredibly quickly as well and I can't fault the service. We can't wait to visit again and would highly recommend to any couples or small families looking for a lovely space right in the heart of Burgundy.
