SO happy to discover this gem of a new hotel near me in the Tarn. A gorgeous country chateau in the rolling French countryside near to Toulouse that has been converted into a sensational boutique hotel. There are lots of boutique hotels popping up in the area but none with a Spa like this! We had the most sensational suite with a huge terrace overlooking the gardens and the countyside, with the snowcapped Pyrenees in the distance. The staff were super friendly, the restaurant was delicious and very well priced for a hotel, and the Spa was exceptional. There is no Spa like this anywhere in the area. A real amount of love and attention has been made by the owners Gordon and Danielle Oldham (of Pavilion Hotels - he is English, she is French from the local area) to make this a perfect French retreat. I have already booked a Spa day in two weeks time!

Situated in Graulhet, this hotel is just 100 metres from Lake Nabeillou, where guests can go fishing and hiking. All rooms have a flat-screen TV with DVD player.

Everything was perfect! The apartment was well appointed and had everything we could have wanted and more (what a treat to have a dressing table!) There are lots of little touches to make the place special and the outdoor cooking and seating area is a great addition and we enjoyed a leisurely breakfast in the peace and quiet.

There’s nothing not to like at this property. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Theo’s warm hospitality has as much to do with that as his incredible vision, practical skills and design sense. This is an amazing place and Theo is a superb host, providing for every little detail to make people’s stay here as comfortable and pleasant as can be. Our stay unluckily coincided with a heatwave, and Theo was quick to provide a parasol, adjust the hot tub settings to lower the temperature, and provide us with ample information for swimming spots and other activities to keep us entertained and cool in the extreme heat. Breakfast is brought to the cabin every morning at the agreed time, includes a selection of homemade and local treats, and always with a personal handwritten note wishing you a good day - a nice touch! An ideal destination for people who have nature and sustainability at heart and are looking for a special get-away. We can’t wait to be back!
