Callas itself is quite small and somewhat lacks the 'pretty' look of some of the other villages in the area. However, it has its own charm and makes an ideal base for exploring this beautiful area of France. There is a good variety of accommodation available in the area to suit most tastes. Small towns with supermarkets are within short driving distances and there are some really good local markets all around the area on just about every day of the week.
