Is a cozy house, the owners are very friendly and serve delicious food. The rooms are basic but more than enough. La Mongie is 10 minutes away. I will definitely repeat when I return through this area . I enjoyed my stay.

Amazing stay at La Baleine Blanche! The hostel was cozy and clean, and the rooms were very comfortable. The common areas were nice and had a lot to offer, from dart games to table soccer to more chill areas, and they also had a bar offering drinks until late in the night. The staff was very young and friendly, and made the stay comfortable for a solo traveller. I came there for skiing, and La Mongie was only 10-15 mins from the hostel. Would recommend staying here!

This a friendly place with a wonderful proprietor who was very helpful and funny. He spoke English and Spanish as well as French of course which was very convenient. The town is nice, the location is excellent for access to the cols and wonderful hiking. The internet is excellent and everything works well.
We stayed in the apartment. Francoise kindly brought us breakfast every morning. She was very helpful with advice about where to walk. The swimming pool and the surrounding area were lovely. We were in a traditional village in the beautiful Campan valley, which we liked.
The host met us at the property and we were able to park the car off the road, which was very useful. We used Campan for cycling up Tourmalet, so the location was excellent.
