Magical setting within the beautifully restored Abbey complex. Having the chance to wander through the cloisters and past the tombs of Eleanore of Aquitaine and Richard the Lion Heart by moonlight is really special.

Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to friends/family. Whilst listed as a 3 star hotel, this place had 5 star service. We arrived later than anticipated and Yannick immediately arranged dinner for us in the nearby town and his wife even drove us there! They offered great advice on nearby attractions and places of interest, as well as places to dine, even booked them in for us. The breakfast was a great treat each morning, and the pool was amazing, although a little chilly we still swam for between 40-60 mins each time. Yannick was even kind enough to do a load of washing for us. Nothing was too much to ask, it was a great place to spend 4 nights and if given the chance we'd love to come back in summer!
