Its an exceptional place, welcoming, beautiful environment, warm hearted, welcoming host, excellent food . Its an island of mindfulness in the year by year mire commercialising camino. And its a bit away from the "pilgrim-disco-zone" of St. jean Pied the Port. Perfect place to begin (or in my case) end the camino.

Great base to explore SJPdP before the challenge of starting the Camino. Rooms very comfortable and we enjoyed a delicious meal at the restaurant.
