We chose this hotel for a stop-over on the Chemin de Compestelle. The Family room was ideal for 2 walkers who wanted separated space in a single room. The room was large and modern. Good welcome from the staff. Lovely building in a great location.

Just the most beautiful location…. And the evening meal was absolutely astonishing!! All produce sourced locally and from the garden, it was one of the best meals I have ever had.

We got a very warm welcome from the host, and she had provided facilities for hot drinks - as well as welcoming chocolates and cold beers! The apartment was spacious, well equipped with all two people would need for their stay, a nice bathroom with a big shower and a very comfortable bed.
Situated in Castetnau-Camblong, in a historic building, 47 km from Zénith-Pau, Domaine de la Castagnère is a bed and breakfast with a garden and bar.

Marc went out of his way to make our stay a real treat! As GR65 pilgrims we craved some privacy, Castetnau Camblong tranquil gardens and farm animals provided that. It was a unique experience sleeping in the Bedouin bedroom tent. My birthday Basque banquet dinner was superb. Marc assisted with choosing from the extensive selection on offer an excellent aperitif and wine to accompany our meal:-) Do yourself a favour and book a room!
