Coffee machine was great and they had all the amenities that other hotels in the same price range often leave our (fridge, crockery, pots/pans etc.) Location is slightly further out from Rennes city centre but is close to two metro stations which we used and found to be an incredibly efficient service to get in and out of the city.

The bed was great. Metro line B which comes every 5 minutes is in a short walking distance from the hotel and provides quick access to the city centre and especially to the university campus which is only 1 stop away.
