On our roadtrip to Switserland and Italy, our first stay was near the ‘Vosges’. What we found was this lovely Chateau, with a history dating back over 300 years. It’s well renovated and we loved our stay. Special love to the indoor swimming pool, matching the very nice host, the nice breakfast and good bed, shower and ambiance.

In general, our stay was great. The host was very friendly and helpful. Her English was really good, above expectation in France. She helped us with activities in the region and gave us tips for restaurants. The room was spacious and the bed, although it was smaller (140 mm in with) than we're used to, was good.
The B&B is a10 minute drive away from the city centre of Epinal, and located in an old building with a lot of character. In the morning, the breakfast was more than expected, with fresh bread and freshly cut fruit. The homemade jelly/marmalade and local honey toped it off. All the facilities, in combination with the open and hospitable host leads to a 10 out of 10.
