A themed hotel, like a museum of the 1960s and 70s. Simple, but good value for money. And the best homemade bread I ever had st a breakfast buffet. The hotel is not central, but I was there for an event at the MeM, which is within walking distance.

Location was great, across from the train station and a short walk to the old centre. The rooms were clean and comfortable, staff were nice and quick to respond to questions. I was there over the Easter weekend, and they left a little chocolate egg hunt on the Sunday which was very kind.

Contrary to what other reviews here said (if I remember correctly), the wifi worked well in my room and there was no problem with them storing my rucsac on the last day after I checked out. The location is only a few hundred yards from the train station in the direction of the old town. The staff were very helpful, and one of them spoke good English. Comfortable bed and nice warm water.
