Best of both worlds. Basic room with usual amenities but no aircon although fan or heater depending on season. In October we were there on changeover day. Very good wifi. Nice shower in our room but broken fitting needed some lateral thinking ( see photo ). The bar restaurant is traditional village France at its best. Probably hasn't changed since the fifties. Excellent food, good cheap beer and wines plus a great atmosphere with the locals although it helps if you speak some French. Very welcoming and you quickly feel like a local as you get to know all the regulars. PS. I have been travelling in France for over 50 years now so nostalgia was a big part of my enjoyment when staying here

The facility was clean and comfortable. Our host was very congenial and helpful. He communicated with us prior to our arrival, so that we had no real concerns while we were there. Two relaxing days.

We were greeted with a glass of local wine by the vivacious Marie-Noelle. Our room was great, a very comfortable bed and a nice ensuite. Beautiful gardens and a pool. Breakfast was delicious, with a good variety. We were only 5 minutes walk to the beautiful Medieval village and its restaurants. Highly recommend this as a base to explore the surrounding area.

Nathalie and Alfred met us on our arrival- such a lovely welcoming couple! Their accommodation is so pretty and beautifully decorated with everything we needed for a short stay. Breakfast was delicious with homemade yogurt and jams and fresh croissants. We’re hoping to hear Nathalie sing when she comes to Australia in 2024 in the Edith Piaf musical. Their place is a hidden gem!

This was our 2nd short sejour in this amazing hotel and in this fantastic little medieval village. You must come to Noyers if you have never been and indeed return if you have been before. We liked the rural peace & quiet and the historical feel of the hotel. The hotel has 'reception room' areas in which to laze around in, and unknown to us first time around it had a games room complete with a fine pool table and table football, would be ideal for a group of friends. Breakfast would have been extra so we opted to get breakfast ourselves from the local Boulangerie. We had a fine meal at the Veille Tour restaurant, in fact we had a couple of drinks there as well late afternoon, sitting outside listening to jazz music, it was fabulous. You must book it for a meal though to be sure of availability!

Julie is an amazing host. She greeted us with a smile and a cold drink on a hot day. Everything we needed was at the apartment. Excellent restaurant booked for us by the host. Nothing was too much trouble.
