There was an issue to begin with over the number of bedrooms which we booked and paid for, however the owners were quick to respond and went out of their way to resolve this.
The renovation shows a lot of thought and care and the home is clean and cosy. Although I do think that the sofa might need replacing as it's not the most comfortable. The beds were really comfortable, though.
The facilities were excellent and the kitchen was very well stocked with all the crockery and cutlery required. The cold water dispenser from the fridge was a welcome relief during the heatwave!
I do think it's good to note that you are expected to hoover, sweep and take down your bedding before leaving or you are charged €30. I normally do this as a matter of course but not everyone does or expects this.
Overall a very good time at Apart-Hotel in Darney with good and responsive hosts. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The welcome at the hotel was warm and the room was beautiful. Because we preferred a shower to a bathtub, the hotel made a special effort to change our room. The room we were given had a lovely view on the park and because it was recently renovated, it was beautifully (and comfortably) decorated. Lighting was excellent, chairs were comfortable, there was adequate room for our suitcases and the bed was perfect. Breakfast was well managed with a nice selection of fresh foods.
