Collioure is a beautiful place to visit, there are lots of cafes, restaurants and shops to visit. There are 4 beaches and interesting buildings. Apartment Olive & Kin is a short walk into the town, the apartment is well equipped and comfortable we are already looking to visit again later in the year.

Collioure is an absolutely beautiful coastal French small city, not far north of the Spanish border. As such, it comfortably merges French and Catalan culture which enhances its allure as a tourist destination. As an example, we had tapas on three of our seven nights in Collioure. We also food shopped at a number of local markets, which provided a selection of amazing cheeses, wine, bread, and Spanish hams. The beaches are typical Mediterranean rocky, but the water is gloriously clean and clear.

Very nice little village at the sea.
Very nice little village at the sea. Several beaches, lot of restaurants and shops. Very Catalan, close to the Spanish border. Easy to get around, just walking. Possibility to rent bikes, take a boat trip and a lot more. Nice food with a touch of Spain (Catalan) some regional wines an several winerys to visit. The wine is kind of mineral to taste, not the greatest area in France for wine, but ok.

Once you are in the town and parked then there's no need to go anywhere else for a while. There are plenty of restaurants, a great art museum, good local walks, good beaches and it is neither loud nor too large.

Friends had told us how lovely this beach town is, so we decided to stay a couple days. The town is charming with lovely seaside pebble beaches. The old section of town has many cafes and fine dining restaurants from which to choose.
Walking is the best mode of transportation. Driving isn't necessary. Once we arrived, we parked the care and didn't use it again until we left.

Collioure is the most beautiful old fishing village, that has also played host to artists like Matisse, Picasso and Rennie MacIntosh. The beaches are a great base for snorkelling, though some sort of water shoe would be recommended as it is stony not sandy.
There is no shortage of places to eat, though we found ourselves often at Cafe Sole for drinks and tapas. Do remember this is a bar that stays open all year round, and do not be offended if the patron appears to favour his regulars over tourists - they are his year round income, tourists are a 2 month boost. He is a pleasant guy with excellent english.
Collioure is a place to walk. Parking is not easy, far better to arrive by train.
How does one rate perfection?! Our 2 night stay at Hotel La Casa Pairal was divine. The grounds are breathtaking, the location is wonderful, the rooms are comfortable and beautifully furnished, breakfast is exceptional, and the owner and her staff are completely attentive and accommodating. Onsite parking at this Collioure hotel was a bonus and very much appreciated. We would highly recommend Hotel La Casa Pairal to anyone looking for an exceptional stay in this beautiful town. We look forward to returning many more times.
I stay here regularly. The hotel is quite tight for space, but the small inconveniences are far outweighed by the things La Fregate has to offer. It's comfortable, the staff are excellent, friendly and helpful. The hotel is in the best spot in Collioure. It's in an unrivalled position right by the Royal Palace and the seafront.
Friendly and helpful staff. They were very responsive when we messaged before hand about parking. We had to amend our parking booking prior to our stay and there was no issue with this. Comfortable, clean room and nice options for breakfast. Short walk into Collioure itself and the train station. Lovely rooftop pool and jacuzzi.
I have been to Collioure several times and I think of it as heaven. I loved all the hotels there I’ve stayed in but Helene has made it home for me. I also love the garden in back. So there are fancier places in Collioure but none that have made me so happy! Plus there breakfast nook is so comfortable!
Good communication and information from the host before arrival. Easy code access. Very clean. New, modern furnishings. Our suite (Les Voiles) had a big terrace. A nice surprise of croissants left on our door for breakfast. The suites are a short walk to all Collioure has to offer.
Beautifully and thoughtfully renovated. An extremely comfortable and stylish hotel in an excellent location with stunning views across the bay. The rooms were very well equipped and everything worked!
The parking facility also works very well. Breakfast was delicious.
The room had a small but lovely balcony that we enjoyed during our stay. The location was great. The hotel is bright and airy, with excellent ventilation. The sea breezes flow through the halls and dining areas. Nice breakfast in the mornings, including fresh fruit.
The position of the hotel suited me ideally and I was glad I had paid for a balcony and seaview. I have always adored Collioure and know it well ….the break by the sea and the walks will ‘keep me going’ through the harsh winter in the Lot et Garonne.
We were very late getting to the facility because our train was late ...No receptionist...no one answered telephone calls...and we had to go to another hotel .
Very inconvenient...and poor management!
Never recommend this place 👎🏾
Amazing location with fabulous views and incredible restaurant. Very friendly and helpful staff.
The village of Collioure is very close and there is plenty of choice of other restaurants near by.
The studio is well located in a quiet neighborhood of Collioure and the host was very kind, helpful and friendly it was very comfy we had a pleasant stay I really recommend it!
