We stumbled upon this hotel in a moment of dire need. My colleague had fallen terribly ill during our journey. To our delight, the hotel administrator happened to be a warm-hearted woman who showed us such genuine care: she brought extra blankets and even a kettle to help comfort us. We are truly touched by her thoughtfulness and kindness. The hotel itself is nestled conveniently along the road, offering a cozy haven for travelers in transit. With fresh linens, a spotless room, and all the comforts one could wish for, our stay here has been nothing short of a warm embrace amidst our travels.

We were made incredibly welcome by firstly Francois and then later by Dan. Both of whom continued to make our two night stay really pleasant. We were there to look at a property and we were given great local information and guidance from both.
Hotel is "quirky" with its Convent history and once you know this the decor makes total sense.
Room was a really good size, clean and a nice view of the Abbey.
Food was good , wholesome and plentiful prepared by Dan himself. (we didn't do breakfast but it was offered)!
Location is just perfect for exploring the village and the surrounding area.
Oh and the local "Fanny's" beer served was fabulous!!

Really lovely place to stay, just 2 mins off the motorway. Owners are lovely friendly couple (who speak English) and sent us lots of info in advance. We also got served very tasty home cooked dinner. Would recommend to anyone.

An amazing host in the most beautiful home. Made to feel very welcome. A wonderful calm atmosphere and a look into real french life. All homemade Jams, mint tea, apple pie and ice cream! The home is an exquisite renovated barn and far beyond what we were expecting. Played billiards and dominoes on an evening. Absolutely perfect for us. Would love to go and visit again with my children.

We were nicely surprised to be welcomed by native English speakers in a beautiful traditional French country house. Our hosts were very friendly and their dogs very nice. We loved the 2 bedrooms with the little tables for having a cup of tea and a snack in our rooms, The beds were very comfy, the area is very quiet and we had a very good night. The bathroom is spacious and works very well. the breakfast was delicious with home made jams and brioches as well as croissants, juice, bread, tea, coffee, hot chocolate... Also, easy parking in the courtyard. We thank you very much for your warm welcome.
