Rural location, in the heart of Somme area, just what we were looking for. Nice continental breakfast was offered, and plenty of it. Area around the gite was very quiet and peaceful. Could easily spend a few days here in the summer, relaxing in the garden. Hosts were very welcoming.

This is actually an entire small home, so there is plenty of room. It is clean and neat and warm. It has a fairly large, charming back yard.
The owners were also charming and as obliging as possible to welcome us.
It was a very comfortable stay.
What was even better was, the next morning, seeing the WW1 collection they have personally accumulated over some decades. All sorts of WW1 paraphernalia is there and they really know their history. We spent about an hour there, looking at the collection and discussing WW1.
This was one of the best stays we have had so far.

Lots of history around the location and only a short drive into town, lots of places to eat out if you wanted but had just about everything you could want if you wanted to stay home and cook. If your looking for an out of the way place but still want to get into the towns this is ideal.
