Charming quirky house with an interesting history. Lovely view from our room over well tended gardens and surrounding countryside. Decorated and furnished with an eclectic mix of objects reflecting the host's interests and travels. An excellent (included in price) breakfast consisting of croissants, bread and home made yoghurts, jams and brioche served in a spacious conservatory. Within easy reach of the coast and other scenic spots but without the hustle and bustle of a town. Great host spoke good English but encouraged us to use our basic French in a very positive way!

Perfect owners. Perfect hospitality!!! We have arrived late evening and despite on this they’ve provided very good invitations. Madam was offering us with perfect backing. More over, they have provided with some excellent and helpful information about the region. They have the super cats (6 of them). Highly recommend for persons who would like to discover the Normandy!!!

We had a wonderful time at Villa Joret. The bedroom and the little sitting room are very cosy, quiet and exceptionally clean, the bathroom is large and well equipped. We were looking forward every evening to the lovely breakfast on the veranda, with Patricks exquisite home made bread and brioche, as well as his very tasty coffee. Virginie and Patrick are wonderful hosts, very helpful and eager to make their guests feel comfortable and well looked after. The beach is just across the garden of the villa, very large and tranquil, perfect for lying in the sun, bathing or enjoying a glass of wine in the evenings. I do hope we shall be back one day. Merci, Virginie et Patrick, pour un sejour merveilleux!

This was a beautiful house in a beautiful location Françoise & Thierry were excellent hosts. Françoise was so friendly and helpfully provided us with information about the area and places for us to visit and to eat. We managed to communicate in spite of our very limited French and Françoise was especially understanding and helpful. We had a fabulous time.
