Breakfast is OK but not exceptional. The standard room had an extremely narrow bed not sufficient for two persons. The other one was ok. The room was very cold. The spa is ok but the basin is small. The hotel is well situated in the town centre. The picture on Booking is misleading: the hotel is situated in the middle of a street, not in the nature. Globally, the hotel is comfortable but has a low value for money.

At the gateway to the region of Bordeaux, the logis la Citadelle is situated in Blaye, a picturesque walled town.
