The young Black waitress was exceptionally efficient and kind. The tall man who received me in the dining room was scowling and unfriendly, until I said I was a guest at the hotel. He should not have acted suspicious, as though I were trying to steal something.

Breakfast was the same as the hotel, simple. Basic but adequate for a one night stopover. Evening dinner was very good.
