Les Rives du Plantié was a lovely oasis for our first night in France. We had requested two rooms close to one another and were given adjoining rooms, perfect! Our daughter had her independence and privacy without us worrying! We ate in the hotel's restaurant, the food was excellent. I do often prefer meat-free options when eating out, and this can be a problem. Les Rives du Plantié was a deliciously pleasant surprise. I had a mezze salad platter, which was, in all honesty, the best salad I have ever had. The team were very accommodating to all of our requests and patient with our poor French and very kind to our daughter. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean we all slept well. The location was quiet and beautiful. It was a fabulous experience for our first night in the country - and it set the tone for a lovely week.

Remote but not isolated family chateau - lovely swimming pool and ideal location near Pujols and Villeneuve sur Lot. Delightful family who made us feel so welcome - we loved spending time with them, utterly charming.

A great setting in a rural village. Very friendly host wanting you to get the best out of your stay. This has the feel of a quality family house and all the rooms are individually styled. A great welcome and breakfast layout. We were able to use the kitchen to make supper as we did not wish to travel out to dine as we arrived a considerable distance on our motorbikes and were fatigued.The kitchen is rather grand in size and style and has everything you could wish for in a kitchen. A great stay.
