This is a traditional French 2 star hotel. I love such hotels and this one had special qualities: there is a literary theme, the owner was visible and helpful, the location is central, my room was large, warm and had a good bathroom, there was private access through a courtyard at all times

Everything was as described. Fairly basic accommodation but if you prefer to spend your time out of doors it is an ideal choice. The breakfast was the best we had in France this trip - all fresh produce and excellent cup of tea!

No restaurant no air con very poor Wi-Fi. 12 or more slippery steps up to our room. Our bedroom had no windows very closed in and no air shower in bedroom witch can’t be right. And man who owns it did not Ofer us help up all them steps with our cases.
