If you don’t value sleep as part of a stay at a hotel then...
If you don’t value sleep as part of a stay at a hotel then it’s the place for you! We are a family of four, including a 4 and 6 year old. I am pregnant and exhausted (especially given we had spent 2 days in Disneyland and then driven for 4 hours) and this “hotel” thinks it’s appropriate to rent out rooms in which guests cannot sleep until past 23:30. They hosted a karaoke night in the restaurant/bar downstairs (right under our room) with music so loud it was impossible to sleep. When we expressed our concern and later complained, the owner became really aggressive and blamed Bookings.com and then us (apparently we should looked at the event section of their FB page before booking!?)...We were told 23:30 wasn’t late and that we were in their county...I’m not sure what is late to them!? Or why it matters that we’re not French...I’m sure French people also like to book hotel rooms in which it’s possible to sleep before 23:30...in actual fact, although the karaoke night ended at 23:30, the noise from the bar didn’t end until 01:00 (my husband was still awake!) Not sure why they rent rooms to families or anyone foreign, they don’t seems to respect either...it’s a shame as it’s a nice hotel with nice, clean rooms and good facilities....just a shame they don’t seems to actually care about their customer’s experience and are simply rude.
