We very very delayed in the traffic but Severine had waited for us, and we got a warm welcome and a nice stay in a warm and cosy room. The surroundings are very calm and quiet. The breakfast is excellent with homemade jam and fruit salad. And there is parking on the lot. So we enjoyed our stay.

This is a nice little hotel, I think the only hotel, and it's located on the main square in the peaceful little town of Douzy. The welcome was great, the beds comfortable, the breakfast very nice. Cheaper to book direct rather than online.
The 18th-century Château de Bazeilles is located a 10-minute walk from the centre of Bazeilles. It offers a large, tree-lined garden and a terrace, and evening meals are provided upon request.
