Clean and tidy. Basic and rustic but a great base in beautiful countryside. More functional than finesse. If you need superb attention to detail this is not for you. Around 20 minutes from the motorway. Extremely remote with some ‘interesting’ access roads. No other buildings nearby. Breakfast was simple and pleasant in a shared communal room which was warm and friendly. We did enjoy our stay and we wish we could have taken advantage of the beautiful countryside more. Visit the gorgeous stables to see the horses (which you can book to ride). 3 star kind of rating.

Beautiful property with an exceptional restaurant. The room was spacious and very clean, and the staff were helpful. We had an excellent night's sleep, and the area was very quiet. We were woken by birdsong, which felt like an extra beautiful touch. Free parking was an added bonus as we were travelling by car. Due to the location, I would think most people drive there anyway. My favourite part was eating at the restaurant with excellent food and wine. A great way to enjoy the fruits of the Cote D'Or. Chef Pierre Franchomme has amazing talent. Every dish we had in the Truffle tasting menu was balanced and excellently presented. It was an absolute joy. Thank you!!

Very pleasant from the time of arrival. I was able to park my motorbike in the garage, and the whole yard was secure via a sliding vehicle gate. Very nice meal tray was served hot in the room with complimentary wine. Breakfast was taken in the room above, with some low level jazz playing in the background - very relaxing. Great midway position for return travel from South of France, and only a short distance from the toll road. Very friendly hosts.
