For me it was a perfect retreat. You're living alongside Viviane in her artistically decorated single storey open-plan home. Fling the shutters open and walk onto a vine covered patio, which overlooks the village and wooded valley.
It's comfortable, welcoming and simple.

Au Pavillion du Frene is undergoing renovations so we were accommodated at Logis Hotel le Relais de Fusies. We ate both breakfast and dinner at the hotel and the food was excellent and well presented.

Residence le Petit Paradis is very well named. In a dormant and rather abandoned looking town we were pleasantly surprised as soon as we came through the gates of this not-so-petite domain. The hosts are working very hard to make everything neat and clean again. There is a lot of terrain right along a pleasant murmuring stream with even a little waterfall. There is a café where can make music or listen to it. And it is well tucked away from the busy Route Departamentale that crosses town. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated and the bathroom very well equipped and comfortable. We also spent a very enjoyable evening with the hosts at their Table d’Hote where we could sample excellent food and wine. Next morning a very nice and abundant breakfast was served. A very pleasant stay though much too short.
