I've stayed at Dunkirk a few times. This was so much better than staying at a hotel. I had a living room, kitchen, shower and separate bedroom. One of the original houses associated with Dunkirk 1940. Adjacent to Rue Belle Rade which was a location in the Dunkirk 2017 movie. The house opposite was where they have the barricade in the opening sequence and it's literally 100 meters from the beach. Perfect location even if you're not into the history. Veronique, the host was very kind and told me about the local places to eat etc. She made me feel welcome. I would definitely stay there again.

The room was very cosy and clean. Nice space downstairs to sit and talk. Easy parking. Close to the sea.

Brilliant location, basic room but comfortable and had everything we needed and was lovely and clean, great for a few nights stay. We didn't use them in the end but the room had a little hob and oven and microwave. Little fridge and coffee machine, with complimentary coffee which was a lovely touch. Shower is lovely, lots of water pressure and better than my home shower. The black out blind is brilliant too, blocks all the light, we ended up sleeping in till 11am because it was so dark.

It‘s got everything you need. Kitchen + Shower. We found free parking one street away. Never saw the owner, got access to the key via a lockbox. If you like to walk you can reach everything in Dunkerque easily on foot from here, but it‘s not hard to find parking if you choose to use the car to get around.
